St. Gabriel Outreach & Care

Mission Statement: We are called to direct our efforts to supporting, coordinating and implementing ways to reach out and care for the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of parishioners and the community at large throughout all phases of life.

Respect Life Committee

Join us for "Link For Life"

respect-life-st-gabriel-signMembers of the Respect Life Committee participate in the Lake County Life Chain held annually on Respect Life Sunday in October.

All parishioners are welcome to be a "link for life" with us as we stand for one hour with hundreds of others to silently pray and hold signs in witness of our belief that all life is sacred from conception until natural death.

The Life Chain gathers at the intersection of Routes 20 (Mentor Avenue) and 306, and fans out in all four directions. St. Gabriel parishioners traditionally gather on the corner near  Dunkin' Donuts.

We also raise money through our Lemonade for Life fundraiser each year selling lemonade after all Masses in the gathering space. This activity supports the good work of Birthright of Lake County.

Leading up to In the days between Mother's Day and Father's Day, we participate in the Boomerang Bottles fundraiser for Hannah's Home to support young women facing unexpected pregnancies.
